Plitvička jezera National Park
By all means, visit one of the most beautiful national parks which has been enlisted onto the UNESCO World Heritage List since 1979. Spend the day discovering this amazing natural surrounding leaving you breathless with its 16 lakes and ponds mutually connected by incredible waterfalls and cascades.
Brijuni National Park
Visit the Brijuni National Park consisting of 16 islands spread along the south-west coast of the Istrian peninsula. Go to the Veli Brijun Island and experience the archaeological sights telling the story of the island's turbulent history, and then take your children to the unforgettable safari park. You can then relax under the thick tree tops of aromatic pine trees or even take a swim in the crystal clear blue sea.
Krk Bridge, Biserujka Cave and a beach with therapeutic mud
Hop on a bus to the Voz Bay and see the Krk Bridge, and then head towards Rudine, a village home to the Biserujka Cave. After exploring the cave take some time to relax at Soline Bay known for shallow waters and therapeutic mud.
Ston and Trsteno
Visit Ston, a systematically built 15th century town with its town walls which are five kilometres long. Take a walk along its regularly shaped streets and squares and the interesting Duke’s Palace. Ston is also famous for the old salt pans which the youngest visitors will surely find interesting. After seeing the sights of the town head towards Trsteno and relax in the beautiful botanical garden which has many exotic plants and giant planes dating back more than 500 years.
Elaphiti Islands
Go on a boat excursion to the Elaphiti Islands which are also called “Jelenski otoci” (Deer Islands). Leaving the old town of Dubrovnik behind, enjoy the view of the beautiful islands covered with lush and aromatic vegetation of pine trees, olives, cypresses and rosemary. After a pleasant boat ride, relax and take a swim on the beautiful sand beaches of the islands of Šipan, Koločep or Lopud.
