A wealth of sports and recreation
There’s plenty to keep our active-minded guests occupied at Camping Orsera. Start the day with some gentle stretching or a wake-up walk/jog along a woodland path before exploring the undersea world at the diving school where you can rent equipment, take lessons and book your place on a boat trip. If you prefer to stay atop the waves, how about a jaunt in a pedal boat, beach canoe, motor or rowing boat? Back on land, you can practise your serves on the nearby tennis courts, situated just a kilometre from the campsite.

DIVING - INFO:
- Newly opened diving centre Fran's ref located directly on the beach
- Scuba diving centre in the Camping Orsera offers the following services: hire of equipment, filling of tanks, organised boat excursion for scuba divers with fully equipped boat, visiting 22 scuba diving locations, scuba diving school (from elementary levels to specialized ones), shop with scuba diving equipment
- Attractive scuba diving locations include:
- Coreolanus wreck (depth 17 – 29 m,
length 50 m, width 8 m, boat trip 90
min) - a war ship of the British Royal
Navy, 45 m long and 8,5 m wide,
weighing over 554 tons, with steam
engine of 850 Horse powers; it was on
a mission to sweep the mines in front
of West Istria; the wreck is located west
of Novigrad at a depth from 21 – 33 m
and is home for many marine species,
making it a real treat for any diver
- Banjol reef (depth 5 – 30 m, for
beginners and advanced divers, boat
trip ca. 30 min); one of the most
beautiful sites on the western coast
of Istria; the most interesting part is
the entrance into the cave situated at
a depth of 5 m from where you emerge
into the crater in the centre of the
island
- Saline (depth 5 – 28 m, for
beginners and advanced divers, boat
trip ca. 20 min) - a night dive; at the
entrance to the Lim Fjord follow the
steep rocks down to the sandy parts
and discover conger eels, sea horses,
lobsters, sponges; after this great dive,
continue the fun on the boat with a
drink and good company
