All our employees in hotels, resorts and camping resorts have been vaccinated against COVID-19 or are regularly tested, so you can be sure of a safe welcome. We are offering the organisation of RAT (rapid antigen) and PCR testing and health care.

Entering the Republic of Croatia

All COVID restrictions on entering the country have been lifted and it is no longer necessary to present an EU Digital COVID Certificate. Entry conditions are the same for all persons, same as they were before the coronavirus pandemic.

ORGANISATION OF RAT (ANTIGEN) AND PCR TESTING

We offer the service of RAT (rapid antigen) testing in, or nearby, your camping resort at prices from €10 - €20 (75,35 kn - 150,69 kn) as well as PCR testing at prices from €50 – €120 (376,73 kn - 904,14 kn).

VALAMAR EMPLOYEES VACCINATED OR REGULARLY TESTED

All employees in our hotels, resorts and camping resorts have a COVID-19 vaccination or recovery certificate, or are regularly tested.


With every booking* made directly through valamar.com or the Valamar reservation centre, each guest receives a V-Care guarantee included in the price of the reservation. The V-Care guarantee applies to all persons included in the reservation and is valid from the moment of check-in at any one of our hotels, resorts or camping resorts.

* It also applies to existing reservations, regardless of when they were made.

Important! To be eligible for free health care services in public health facilities during the stay in our destinations, the guest must have a valid European Health Insurance Card.

Organisation of PCR and RAT (antigen) tests

      • Organisation of RAT (rapid antigen) testing in your camping resort or their vicinity. The price of the test is from €10 - €20 (75,35 kn - 150,69 kn) per person.*
      • Organisation of PCR testing in, or close to, your camping resort. The price of the test is from €50 - €120 (376,73 kn - 904,14 kn) per person.*
      • It is possible to book a test in advance through our Valamar reservation centre (before your arrival, or during your stay) by registering at the reception or by contacting our V-Health&Safety Manager by 12:00 (noon) on the working day before the desired test date - except on Sundays, when tests are not performed. For a test on Monday, you need to make an appointment on Saturday by 12:00 (noon).
      • Test results will be delivered to your email address within 24 hours for the PCR and 2 hours for the RAT (rapid antigen) test. Due to increasing demand, you may experience delays in the delivery of results.

BOOKING POLICY

  • In 2022, you can cancel your reservation free of charge up to 7 days before your arrival date in accordance with the standard rate 
  • There is a €50 (376,73 kn) predefined deposit for pitches, or €100 (753,45 kn) for premium and luxury pitches, which is charged within 7 days of booking. In case of cancellation of reservations, the amount transferred as a deposit will not be refunded.

We kindly ask our guests who have booked their stay via online travel agencies (or other partners that offer our accommodation properties and services) to contact them for information about options to change their arrival date or cancel their booking.

Which COVID-19 tests and certificates are recognised when entering Croatia?

To enter Croatia, it is not necessary to present COVID-19 tests.

What coronavirus protection measures have you taken in your campsites?

Our campsites have always been held to the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness.

Contact surfaces are being disinfected more frequently than before. We have implemented special standards at swimming pools, where, in addition to disinfection, we sample and test water, while meeting the highest legally required standards.

The clean space programme applies to all accommodation units, which are entered according to your preferences and needs.

In food production and service HACCP system is implemented. Sanitation procedures are upgraded to assure Coronaviruses (CoV) destruction. Our laudry has certified Biocontamination control system.

What is required upon arrival at the camping resort?

When entering our camping resorts you are required to present your booking confirmation and your ID card or passport.

Do you have an emergency medical service in case of coronavirus symptoms?

The V care guarantee is Valamar’s healthcare package providing healthcare service and assistance to our guests 24/7. You also have a V-Health&Safety manager at your service who will provide all necessary healthcare services, such as online medical consultations, visits to medical facilities or Covid-19 testing appointments. What can we expect on your beaches?

What options do we have for checking in and checking out?

We have simplified our check-in procedure so you can check in online or use our safe protocols at the Front desk. You can also check in by yourself with your mobile phone via the MyValamar mobile app, on our website www.valamar.com, or at our interactive kiosk (available in some accommodation facilities) upon arrival at the facility. If you prefer to check in and out without using technology, we offer the regular procedure with precautions such as a minimum distance between guests.

Will wearing face masks be mandatory in certain parts of the campsite?

Current regulations of the Croatian Institute of Public Health do not require the wearing of masks. As part of our improved V-Health&Safety policy, we have ensured a comprehensive approach to a safe and carefree holiday. How will children’s entertainment programmes and children’s pools be organised?

Valamar follows the recommendations of international, European and national health organisations concerning kindergartens and applies them to all Maro amenities for children while implementing the highest hygiene standards.

Will additional campsite amenities (sports playgrounds, cinema and similar) be available?
